Name: Vera(Faith in Russian)

Kite: Red, white and Gold Crane

Age: 14 or 15ish, don't really have a preference

Born in the countryside of southern Russia She was born under the stars and she grew up under their bright light. The blessing she was bestowed with was taken away at a young age as her parents passed, when she was barely 6 years old. Her Grandmother took her in and she lived in China, her parents homeland. However their were no stars there as Dark smog filled the sky in their stead.

During the New Year different lights and decorations decorated the city, and taking part in the festivities Vera would dance, remembering the traditional Chinese dances her mother taught her when she was young and adorned herself in bright lights, If she could not see the stars in the heavens, she would become one on Earth. While dancing on another festive night, her ankle gave out while in mid-spin, and she could no longer dance. Her Grandmother was told by the Doctors that she was forbidden from dancing ever again. Her Hope diminished, her Despair closed in, she had danced hoping to connect with her parents in the heavens, but all was now lost, she was crippled, broken. Pain followed her wherever she went, not only from her ankle, but from her heart.

One day while walking throughout the city she came across a man selling colorful kites, she had never flown one before, the weather back in her town was too harsh for it, so it was out of reach. Maybe now she could connect again with her parents. A bright red, gold and white Crane caught her eye, maybe she could dance once again, but this time in the skies..."Maybe, if my parents spirits have not left this world yet, they will see my crane and ride it to heaven.."
Her Hope was rekindled and she danced her Kite through the dark night.

Vera has a very exuberant and kind personality, She smiles as much as she can, knowing that her parents would want to see her happy no matter what. She is a bit hyper and uncontrollable at times, and just because she can't dance like she used to, doesn't mean she can't "vogue" while flying her kite, as she is now. Her favorite colors are bright ones, pink especially. She is bilingual speaking both Russian and Chinese.
